Sports and Cultural Activities

To complement our academic curriculum, Grey College Primary offers an excellent sporting and cultural programme. Our young men have access to a wide range of sports, all overseen by qualified coaches. Teams participate in both national and local leagues, competing against other schools. Our sporting codes include:

• Mini-Cricket, Cricket, Mini-Tennis, Tennis, Swimming, Water Polo, Squash, Mountain Biking, Athletics, Rugby, Soccer, Hockey, Cross-Country, Biathlon, Triathlon, and Duathlon

Grey College Primary also offers a thriving cultural programme, allowing all young men to develop confidence and nurture artistic and creative talents. Cultural activities include:

• Hip-hop dance, Chess, Computers, award-winning Stabilis, Photography, Uniting Christian Students Association, Verenigde Christen Studente Vereniging van Suid-Afrika, Drama, and Drama Eisteddfods

Our dynamic music department features:

• Senior Choir, Junior Choir, Stabilis Voci, Drumline, Marimbas, Boere-Orkes, Jazz Band, Cello Ensemble, String Orchestra, and Guitar Group

We strongly believe that extra-curricular activities emphasise participation and teamwork, building school spirit and a sense of belonging in each young man. This ensures that every individual contributes meaningfully to the broader school community.
