Campus and Facilities

Grey College Primary enjoys a spacious setting spread over 60 hectares of prime property to the west of the city centre. Five of the school buildings are National Monuments: the Main Building, Hamilton Hall, Murray House and Brill House boarding establishments, and the Tuck Shop, which served as a hospital during the Anglo-Boer War.

The school boasts extensive facilities, including:

Sports Facilities

The Grey Pavilion serves as the hub for rugby and cricket. The school features:

• 23 cricket nets and 7 cricket fields
• 22 all-weather tennis courts shared between Primary and Secondary students
• The Gustav Fichardt large swimming pool for swimming training, galas, and water polo tournaments
• The Windmill soccer complex with 4 fields
• An Astro hockey surface at Casa Parentum

The multi-purpose hall also hosts hip-hop sessions, performing arts showcases, theatre productions, and other events.
